Gemma will be accompanying selected oboe players at Grade 6 level and above at the Oboe Advanced Masterclass with Martin Lee, as part of the Double Reed Day organised by the New Zealand Double Reed Society (NZDRS).

Based in Melbourne, oboist Martin Lee has a wealth of experience as an orchestral player and as an oboe teacher. He studied under several renowned oboists, Jeffrey Crellin, Anthony Camden and Emanuel Abbuhl. Martin performed with the Auckland Philharmonia for many years, first as Principal Oboe and later Principal Cor Anglais, and has appeared a number of times as oboe soloist with the Auckland Philharmonia, Auckland Chamber Orchestra and the Dunedin Sinfonia.
